NFL Injury Report:
New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis finds himself in the
midst of trade rumors this offseason, but he’s also in the middle of rehabbing
his significant knee injury. By all accounts, the recovery is going well, as
Revis aims to start running outside in four to six weeks, according to Andrea Kremer of The NFL Network.
Monday marked a milestone for Revis, as the cornerback was
able to run on a treadmill for the first time since last September. While
running is a very routine thing, Revis told Kremer that it was a very big deal
"I said, 'What went through your mind when you were
doing it?' "Kremer recalled. "He goes, 'I know it sounds crazy, but
I'm running.' And that is just a huge thing for him, a huge hurdle both
mentally and physically to get past."
Kremer adds that Revis is also working on drills to stop,
plant and change direction. He’s aiming to begin running outside with no
restrictions in four to six weeks. The All-Pro continues to target his return for
the time training camp starts.

Oh the weather outside (in the Delaware Valley) is frightful today. I stand on my front porch with arms akimbo, daring the 40mph winds bending my 80-feet-high poplar (and pounding it with a mix of snow and rain) to do some damage. Bring it. I am tired of cowering in worry about being crushed to death. After all, I'm an Iggles fan. We don't tremble anymore---we roar.
