New York Jets owner Woody Johnson and center Nick Mangold have come out in defense of quarterback Mark Sanchez following Wednesday's report that some of his teammates aren't happy with him.The report featured a comment from one anonymous Jets player suggesting Sanchez was "lazy" because there was no capable backup QB to challenge him.Johnson lambasted the assertion on MSNBC Thursday."I’ve never heard (that Sanchez is lazy)," Johnson said on MSNBC Thursday. "(Sanchez) is the first guy in the building every morning and the last guy to leave. So, the last thing he is is lazy. ... He’s an NFL quarterback.
