For the second time in the past month, a Jets player has stuck up for Mark Sanchez by calling out the fans.
Following the Jets' embarrassing 49-19 loss to the Patriots on Thanksgiving night, tight end Dustin Keller took to Twitter to call out those in the MetLife Stadium crowd who cheered when Sanchez went down due to injury.
Late in the fourth quarter, with the game well out of reach and chants for Tim Tebow in full effect, Sanchez dropped back to pass and was hit hard by a Pats defender.
Before he gingerly scraped himself off the turf and limped back to the huddle, disgusted Jets fans -- those who stuck around, at least -- and staunch Tebow supporters reigned down a round of sarcastic applause.
It was another shaky outing by the incumbent quarterback, who threw an awful interception and lost a fumble after hilariously crashing into the backside of his offensive lineman. Seriously.
However, cheering a pot...
BEST OF MAXIM
If you wanted a play to sum up the New York Jets season, you need to take a look at this Mark Sanchez fumble from Thanksgiving Night.
Watch as Mark attempts to hand the ball off to his fullback but ends up having to run it himself due to a miscommunication.
Then, Mark accidentally runs into his own lineman Brandon Moore and fumbles the ball which is picked up by New England...
If you’re a Patriots fan, that was sure a fun second quarter.
The Jets handed New England four turnovers and yielded 35 points in just 15 minutes of action — all after a scoreless first quarter. The totality of the Jets’ breakdown is hard to encapsulate with words, but perhaps it was best personified by the image of New York quarterback Mark Sanchez running straight into his...
After last night’s horrible loss to the Patriots, New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan still can’t believe how bad his team played.
“Obviously watching the tape, it’s still hard to fathom the one stretch,” Ryan said today, in comments distributed by the Jets’ PR staff, per Pro Football Talk. “I’ve never seen anything like it. Coaching football or even following football...
Rex Ryan is no stranger to his New York Jets being embarrassed at home by the New England Patriots. Last season, the Patriots traveled to New York and beat the Jets by a score of 37-16. Thursday’s loss was even uglier, as New England dominated in all phases of the game en route to a 49-19 Thanksgiving Day loss on national television.
If you thought the Jets had questions heading...
Tim Tebow says he broke two ribs in the New York Jets loss at Seattle two weeks ago.
Tebow did not play in the Jets' 49-19 loss to the New England Patriots on Thursday night, despite the offense struggling and fans chanting for him to replace Mark Sanchez at quarterback throughout the game. He was listed as questionable for the game with a rib ailment, but fully practiced Wednesday...
WHERE'S THE TURKEY
A poll asked Americans for their preferred Thanksgiving dinner guest, and you really have to see the results and where Tim Tebow ranks.
As we are only one day away from Thanksgiving, this story about New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow is a rather-heartwarming one.
According to Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post, some random fan (or kissing-up teammate) sent Tebow the below bouquet of balloons back on Tuesday:

The Jets look to keep their playoff hopes alive with an upset over the Patriots. Miami hosts the Seahawks, while the Bills try to corral Andrew Luck.
It's no coincidence that Mark Sanchez is butt of every joke. Here's your related NFL statistic of the day: the New York Jets gave up three touchdowns in 56 seconds of gametime.

An amazing game for a Patriots fan, and for anyone that enjoys this segment. Jets fans are the best at making fun of their own team. I guess they have a lot of practice to come up with witty comments. I couldn't even make a top three, had to expand it to 10. Anyway, we all know how this one went. EnjoyTop 10: Stephen Hawking would have all day against that pass rush. I don'...
Last week: 27 (+1)
The Jets were bound to bounce back last week. Teams that lose back-to-back games by 21 or more go 36-16 ATS in their next game. However, it still isn’t a promising sign going forward. For every one good Mark Sanchez performance, he has 3 bad ones. Don’t believe me? This year he’s had 3 games in which he’s had a QB rating over 90 in which he...
The New York Jets looked a lot like the team we all know they are tonight. This team has some serious problems and the answer is NOT Tim Tebow! I think it starts at the top, so Rex Ryan is going to have to face the facts: his team is in disarray and he has no idea how to fix it.On the other side of the field was the New England Patriot, leader of the division and clearly on their...
If there's one person New England Patriots fans should be thankful for, it's Mark Sanchez.
The Jets' inept quarterback had a holiday that he'd like to forget, as the former fifth overall pick bumbled his way around in a laughably bad performance that had Jets fans clamoring for Tebow Time.
Unfortunately (or fortunately) for Jets fans, Tebow never saw the...
Rex Ryan and the New York Jets have officially hit rock bottom following a humiliating loss on Thanksgiving Night to the New England Patriots
Lead writer Nick St. Denis and AFC East Daily contributors Dan Begnoche and Sean Donovan pick the Thanksgiving divisional slugfest between the New England Patriots and New York Jets.Nick's take: Ah... Thanksgiving dinner, beer and Jets vs. Patriots. Few things are better. Rex Ryan will have Gang Green ready, and the Jets will divide their rushing attempts evenly between Bilal...
