New York Jets linebacker David Harris and rookie defensive tackle Kenrick Ellis exited Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers with ankle injuries.
Harris was injured while making a tackle on Chargers running back Ryan Mathews late in the second quarter. While making the tackle, other Jets defenders came to his aid but Harris' left ankle turned on the play.
Signed to a four-year deal in the offseason, Harris entered Sunday's contest with 33 tackles, two sacks and an interception this season.
Last season, the 27-year-old had 99 tackles and three sacks.
Ellis also left with an ankle injury and is questionable to return.
