The Jets hit another new low on Monday night, with Mark Sanchez doing all he could to set the quarterback position back a generation or two. Apparently, the Jets have seen enough.

Sanchez was once again abysmal on Monday night against the Tennessee Titans. The struggling quarterback was just 13-for-28 for 131 yards with four interceptions. He also botched a snap out of the shotgun formation in the game’s final moments, sealing another Jets loss and ensuring New York will miss the playoffs this season.
McElroy made his debut in Week 13 when he was called on to come in off of the bench to replace Sanchez under center. The second-year quarterback completed five of seven passes for 29 yards and one touchdown. That was good enough to squeak out...
