Breaking News! The New York Jets have named Greg McElroy the starting quarterback this coming Sunday against the San Diego Chargers. Rex Ryan has decided to not start Mark Sanchez who has been awful all season long and probably is looking at his last days with the Jets. Greg McElroy who led the Jets to a win a few weeks ago against the Cardinals in the 2nd half of the game where he threw the game winning TD pass to Jeff Cumberland to make it 7-6 final score. Will get the chance to prove he can be a starting quarterback, even though most people doubt he has any future of be a starting quarterback in the NFL. Mark Sanchez stats on the season consists of having 2,678 passing yards for 13 touchdown passes, 17 interceptions and a passer rating of 67.9 on the year. The Greg McElroy era has just begun.
