Darin Gantt of NBCSports reports that New York Jets linebacker, Quinton Coples, is back at Jets’ practice. This is great news for the Jets and bad news for the rest of the NFL. Coples will join a Jets' defense that is already rank third in the league with only 241 yards allowed per game.Sidelined since the preseason with a hairline fracture in his ankle, Coples can only help the Jets already tough defensive unit. Considered by some to be one of the best defensive end prospects in the 2012 NFL draft, Coples was selected 16thoverall by the Jets.In his rookie season, Coples had thirty tackles with five and half sacks. However, the Jets had big plans for Coples this season playing him at multiple positions before his injury, including outside linebacker.Coples will help an already unexpectedly good Gang Green defense and other teams, including the Jets' roommates in the AFC East, should take notice.
