New York Jets running back Shonn Greene returned to Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third quarter after leaving with a head injury in the first half. Greene had seven carries for 23 yards on New York's first two drives, but was removed with the Jets driving in the second quarter after he was tackled by Pittsburgh's Ryan Mundy following a 9-yard gain. Greene was replaced by Bilal Powell, then spent several minutes on the sideline being tended to by New York medical personnel before making his way to the locker room. Greene was back on the field for the Jets on New York's first possession of the second half.

Jets Outplayed In All Phases In Loss To Steelers

The Jets struggled in all phases during their 27-10 defeat in Pittsburgh against the Steelers.  Mark Sanchez couldn't orchestrate scoring drives, receivers dropped passes, the defense missed tackle after tackle and the special teams made a mistake the team couldn't afford."It came down to the simple fact they out-executed us and played better in all phases, including...

New York Jets: So Many Concerns, so little time to Fix them

New York Jets started the game looking good. Early in the first-quarter Mark Sanchez hooked up with Santonio Holmes, for a 14-yard touchdown catch. After that, midnight struck! It wasn’t the same offense we saw last week, granted the Pittsburgh Steelers had the No.1 defense last year. However, the Jets never looked like they got into a rhythm. In fact, only two times I though they...

Tim Tebow could ask for trade from Jets?

There was a media stir created this week when the New York Daily News reported that an NFL source told them that Tim Tebow could ask for a trade at the end of the season. Jets rule out Darrelle Revis and Dustin Keller, expect Sione Pouha back

The Jets got a surprising 48-28 victory over the Bills in their opener, but improving to 2-0 may prove to be very tough for them, especially without their top defensive player, Darrelle Revis, who has been ruled out for this week’s clash with the Steelers with a concussion. In his absence, Kyle Wilson will start and cover Antonio Brown, one of the AFC’s premier receivers, while...

Monday Morning Chrysler New Yorker

Week Two: Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New York Jets Recap

On the board for 2012. It was a tale of two halves in this game. The first half gave every indication that the Steelers were going to find a way to lose to an obviously inferior opponent. Then, offensively and defensively, the Steelers flipped the switch in the second and dominated the Jets en route to a 17 point victory which is one point more than the point differential in the...
