Pro Sports Daily:
New York Jets first-round draft pick Quinton Coples has agreed to a four-year contract with the team, multiple outlets reported Thursday. The team also confirmed that an agreement has been reached with Coples, a defensive lineman, although it disclosed no terms. The four-year deal reportedly includes an option for a fifth year. As the 16th overall pick, Coples is expected to earn about $8.9 million over the four years. Coples becomes the eighth first-round pick to come to terms with his team.

The Jets CB gushed over his new teammate, saying about Tebow's "passion within": "You see it all the time, eating lunch, walking down the hallway."
According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, New York Jets running back Joe McKnight admitted on Wednesday that he’s gained 16 pounds during the offseason.
McKnight told the media that he gained the weight from eating ”a lot of McDonalds.”
“I was eating healthy, but the majority of time I was eating bad. I wasn’t eating all the right stuff… Like...
Starting tonight I will be heading over to Europe until Sunday, May 27th. In the meantime, Chris Gross will be running the site. Stay with us for new content from him, our newest writer Mike Donnelly and Justin Fritze. Make sure you are following all of them on Twitter. I will miss all of you…I won’t miss hearing about what Tim Tebow eats for lunch, what his dog is called or...
Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow is taking legal action against a company selling T-shirts featuring the words "MY Jesus" in a design similar to the "NY Jets" logo, TMZ reported Wednesday, citing a cease-and-desist letter from his lawyers.
In a letter sent last month, lawyers for Tebow demanded that Cubby Tees stop selling the T-shirts -- which the company admits...
Florham Park, N.J. - From the very second Tim Tebow was traded to the Jets the talk has been about how this Jets offense will change, but the majority of the focus has been on the change in the quarterback situation while the running game has become something of an afterthought. This won't be the case once we get closer to the start of the season and the conversation steers back...
Hot News for DE Quinton Coples
The New York Jets have promoted Jeff Bauer to director of college scouting, filling the vacancy created when Joey Clinkscales left to become Oakland's director of player personnel.
The Jets also hired Kevin Kelly on Friday as an area scout after he served in the same role the last three seasons for Indianapolis.
Bauer is entering his 12th season with the Jets, and spent the...
Joe Namath has made a point of making controversial comments and doing questionable things. Most famous of those "things" I speak of came when Namath attempted to put his moves on sideline reporter Suzy Kolber. For a trip down memory lane, I included the video below.
That incident, however comical it may be, is not the topic today. Namath is now describing Mark Sanchez...
Depending on who you ask in the Jets’ organization, Wayne Hunter is either definitely the week 1 starter or he’ll have competition for his job in Training Camp. Hunter, one of the league’s worst statistical tackles last season, has the full support of offensive line coach Dave DeGuglielmo, who says that Hunter is the starting [...]
I wouldn’t recommend drafting Mark Sanchez because he could easily lose his job to Tim Tebow midseason and I wouldn’t recommend picking up Tebow until he’s actually starting.
RB Shonn Greene (NY Jets)
The Jets didn’t add another back until the 6th round this year, even though they lost LaDainian Tomlinson, who was their #2 back. Some take this as a sign that they believe...
Sounds like Darrelle Revis may have a man-crush on his new Jets teammate, Tim Tebow. Revis recently spoke out about all the little intangibles he feels Tim Tebow provides. “He’s a born leader, he really is,” Revis said Wednesday. “Very few athletes have the gift he has. He tries to lead by example all the [...]
