Jets Reach Agreement With First-Round Pick Mark Sanchez

by Dan GrazianoFiled under: Jets, NFL Training CampFLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- The New York Jets announced Wednesday afternoon that they have reached agreement on the terms of a contract with quarterback Mark Sanchez, their first-round pick from this year's draft.Terms of the agreement were not immediately available, but it's likely a package similar to the one quarterback Matt Ryan got from the Atlanta Falcons last year. Ryan was the third overall pick in the 2008 draft and got a six-year contract worth $66 million, of which $34.75 million was guaranteed.
