New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis will have surgery on his torn ACL Thursday and will be placed on season-ending injured reserve, head coach Rex Ryan told reporters Friday. The move clears a roster spot needed after safety Eric Smith sprained his knee in practice on Thursday, forcing him out of Sunday's game against Indianapolis.
