Found March 22, 2013 on NFL Injury Report:
Former New York Giants running back and current free agent Ahmad Bradshaw told the Michael Kay Show (report via The Star-Ledger) that the New York Jets are one of several teams that have expressed interest in him this offseason. Beyond the Jets, Bradshaw said the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers have also shown interest in the running back. He says that wherever he goes, he wants to have an opportunity at being the primary rusher. "There's a lot of teams out there that need running backs," Bradshaw said, via The Star-Ledger. "I want to go to a team (where) I can be the No. 1 back, get multiple carries every game. I just want to be able to help and be a big part of it." Bradshaw is one of the few intriguing running backs remaining on the market. He’s still 27 years old, and he’s shown impressive bursts in the NFL with the Giants. However, he’s also been hampered by injuries – specifically to his feet – which may have teams hesitant to count on him as a No. 1 option. New York Jets GM John Idzik: Patience Will Pay Off with Darrelle Revis

There has been a lot of posturing lately as the media whispers about a potential Darrelle Revis trade continue to be louder than the actual action. The New York Jets paid the roster bonus Darrelle Revis was due on Saturday, removing that as a motivating factor to get a deal done quickly. Then it was reported that John Idzik is looking for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to give up their...

Tom Coughlin not down with JPP’s weight being up

Jason Pierre-Paul has the potential to be a dominating defensive prescence on the football field, much like Aldon Smith and JJ Watt, but all the potential in the world is worthless if it isn’t taken well care of and the effot isn’t put into place. When the New York Giants won the Super Bowl in 2012, JPP was that dominant force, as his raw skill was on display for much of the...

David Wilson aiming for New York Giants starting job

David Wilson told ESPNNewYork that he is working hard to secure the Giants starting job for the 2013 season (Credit: AP Photo) After releasing running back Ahmad Bradshaw, there does not seem to be any competition for David Wilson taking the starting running back job in New York next season. Just don’t tell that to Wilson. “I’m just working hard and preparing,” Wilson told...

Rex Ryan sounds like a lost man

He’s no longer that huge presence when he is in the room, and we aren’t talking about all the weight he lost last year. Rex Ryan is a man who is lost. He doesn’t speak with the same bravado that excited fans of the New York Jets and had media at stand-by waiting for the next overly confident prediction or claim. No, Rex sounds like a guy that is just waiting to be told what...

NEW YORK — Quarterback Eli Manning said he will consider reworking his contract if it will help keep leading receiver Victor Cruz on the New York Giants. The two-time Super Bowl MVP indicated Wednesday at a sponsor event that the Giants haven’t asked him to redo his contract to free up cap space. But he said he would consider anything that helps the team. “I want Victor back...

Jets “not clear” if Bucs’ 13th pick is enough

It is time for another rebuttal to a story that was a rebuttal to previous stories which was a rebuttal for… Well you get the hint. To follow up yesterday’s story about the Bucs’ 2014 draft picks comes a story from the New York Post saying general manager John Idkzik isn’t even clear what he wants in return from the Bucs to trade Darrelle Revis. According to league sources...

Bucs have “patience” for a Darrelle Revis trade

The national media has weighed in on the Jets potential trade of Darrelle Revis to the Buccaneers. While reports have said anything from it happening this week to not happening until this summer, none have labeled their cornerback situation better than NFL Network’s Charles Davis. Appearing on 98.7 The Fan Wednesday morning with Justin “The Commish” Pawlowski, Davis was asked...

Sounds Like Umenyiora to the Falcons Is Heating Up

I was innocently browsing my reader after being bored by March Madness and came across an interesting article that was posted today from CBSsports.com. From the tone of the article it sounds like former NY Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora really wants to be a member of the Atlanta Falcons. Here are a couple of quotes from an AJC article that was referenced in the CBSsports...
