New York Jets coach Rex Ryan thinks Miami Dolphins running back Reggie Bush should apologize for his comments a few weeks ago that Darrelle Revis' season-ending knee injury was a case of ''what goes around comes around.''
Ryan drew the ire of the Dolphins star when the coach said the Jets were going to put ''hot sauce'' - saying he meant lots of attention, not intent to injure - on Bush before New York's 23-20 overtime win last month. Bush hurt his left knee, and later implied it was karma that Revis also hurt his left knee and was lost for the season.
Ryan says Wednesday he apologized for his comments being misinterpreted, and ''expects'' Bush to say sorry not to him, but perhaps to Revis because he's ''his peer.''

The Jets' conservative play-calling in the waning minutes of regulation in New York's 29-26 overtime loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday reminded many observers of the Herm Edwards era. In those years, the Jets tended to play it safe during the two-minute offense and usually lived to regret it, most notably in an AFC divisional playoff overtime loss to the Pittsburgh...
As if the Miami Dolphins didn’t have enough reasons to want to beat the tar out of the Jets this Sunday. The Dolphins have been focused all week, preparing for their huge AFC East game against the hate, freaking Jets. Emotions were expected to be high, considering the last time the Dolphins played the Jets, Reggie Bush was knocked out of the game. Bush was injured by taking...
Sean Lee is set to undergo season-ending surgery to repair a torn tendon in his big toe next week, which is a major blow to the Dallas Cowboys defensively. Lee is one of the most important players the Cowboys have on defense and easily their best tackler. Dallas ranks 15th this season in rushing yards [...]
Joe Caporoso - LaRon Landry and the Jets Run D versus Reggie “Hot Sauce” Bush - There has been plenty of chirping from Reggie Bush about the New York Jets and LaRon Landry didn’t back down reminding that Bush “will remember his hit from week 3, every time he sees him on the field.” Should be a scrappy one on Sunday, no? In all seriousness, if the Jets slow down Reggie...
Rex Ryan is a talker. It’s what he does. So there aren’t many things that will leave him at a loss for words. Maybe a nice foot, but not much else.
Well today, we found another thing that leaves Ryan at a loss for words. While meeting with reporters on Thursday, Ryan what he had to say about NFL players voting his two quarterbacks the most overrated players in the league. And...
New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan said much maligned quarterback Mark Sanchez played “really outstanding in most of the game” in a 29-26 overtime loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday night at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. … Continue reading →
The trash talking has begun in advance of Sunday’s match up between the New York Jets and the Miami Dolphins. When the two teams met earlier this season, the result was a Jets win but the loss of key defensive player, CB Darrelle Revis for the season. Dolphins RB Reggie Bush also suffered an [...]
The Miami Dolphins were off on Tuesday, getting one final day of rest before their practice resumes in preparation for Sunday’s BIG divisional matchup with the Jets. Since we already broke down the Dolphins Division this week, we thought we’d skip that feature on it’s usual Wednesday slot. Instead, since the Dolphins were off on Tuesday, we did some reading of other Dolphins...
Jets defensive coordinator Mike Pettine's job just got a little bit harder, and it's all because a couple of guys couldn't keep their mouths shut.
The back and forth between the Jets and Dolphins running back Reggie Bush continued this week with the teams squaring off in the Meadowlands on Sunday. But while we'll have to wait and see what unfolds...
A pair of injuries to star players marred the last meeting between the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins.
It's been five weeks, but the emotions from that matchup are still lingering.
With a war of words continuing, the Jets will try to sweep the season series from the Dolphins for the first time in five years Sunday at MetLife Stadium.
