Jets' Shaun Ellis arrested for weed

Today it was reported that the longest-tenured member of the New York Jets was arrested and charged with "possession of marijuana, speeding and driving without insurance after being pulled over by police last weekend," only a few miles from the team's facilities. It will be interesting to see if the Commish gets involved and suspends Ellis. Getting caught with drugs usually results in a timely suspension from the league. Unless you're a white guy with cocaine. Then it'll take about 10 weeks. Football is a violent sport, and some of these guys might benefit from the occasional toke, but rules are rules are rules, and Shaun Ellis is just the latest dude to violate 'em. Maybe he's an idiot.
