The New York Jets signed fullback John Conner Saturday to replace Chris Pressley, who was placed on injured reserve. Conner was drafted by the Jets in 2010 but was cleared from the roster earlier this season in an injury settlement. Pressley injured his right knee in Thursday night's victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. He started in seven of the 14 games he played this year.

5 Replacements for Rex Ryan, Jets

The New York Jets may be on their way to making a playoff push but don’t be fooled. This season is by far the most frustrating and most disappointing of Rex Ryan’s tenure as Head Coach. After thirteen weeks of nailbiters and fumbles, it is clear New York is in need of a coaching change (to say the least). Woody Johnson would do his team a favor by firing Ryan. A lot has changed...

The Jets are still terrible but somehow alive in the playoff hunt. Week 15 preview.

The Jets like to be on the front page, now they get the MNF Stage.  Too bad they aren't any good. With only three weeks left in the season it's time to teams to step-up and secure a playoff spot or start looking forward to next season.  After a rough couple weeks I'm sitting at 132-76, I need to step it up. Here's a quick look at this weeks games. NY...

Mo Knows: Wilkerson becoming big force on Jets' D

Muhammad Wilkerson is a quiet guy, appearing almost shy during interviews and deflecting praise. But the New York Jets defensive lineman is anything but timid on the field, developing into a dominating force in his second NFL season. While he's not yet a household name, he's a big reason the Jets' once-struggling defense is ranked eighth in the league - and Rex Ryan...

Ryan changes mind about Tebow's role

New York Jets coach Rex Ryan flip-flopped on Tim Tebow's possible role in Monday night's game against the Tennessee Titans. Ryan told reporters Friday that Tebow may serve as a personal protector on punts and might see action in the Wildcat formation on offense. Earlier in the week, Ryan said Tebow would not perform those functions. Ryan changed his mind after watching...

New York Jets Defensive Film Breakdown: Week 14

Through a tumultuous up and down 2012 season, the New York Jets have experienced some all-time lows in the Rex Ryan era, this year. While the offense has been stagnant and putrid for the better part of the season, the Jets still somehow find themselves mathematically alive for an unlikely Wild Card spot as we enter the tail end of December. Ryan has rallied his group of embattled...

FS LaRon Landry Will Not Take A Modest Offer To Re-Sign With Jets

Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that FS LaRon Landry would not take a “Hometown discount” to re-sign with the Jets this offseason. Landry will be a free agent  after his one year deal, due to previous health issues,  is done but after a healthy and productive season Landry’s stock and value have gone up back to his best and the Jets will want to re-sign him...

Jets' Wilkerson injured vs. Chargers

New York Jets defensive lineman Muhammad Wilkerson suffered a concussion and injured a knee during the team's loss to San Diego on Sunday, and his status for the season finale at Buffalo is uncertain. Wilkerson played every defensive snap against the Chargers, and the team says he showed no symptoms of a concussion until after the game, and was tested. He'll continue to...

Enemy Intelligence: New York Jets

The Titans host the New York Jets on Monday Night Football. The Jets are 6-7 and still alive for a playoff spot if they win their last three games, so it's not two teams with nothing to play for. New York is coming off a 17-10 road win in Jacksonville last week where all of their points came in the second half.   After the jump, what I saw from the Jets last week...

New York Jets at Tennessee Titans: Three Bold Predictions

Coming off two snore-fest wins over bottom-dwelling teams, the New York Jets somehow find themselves positioned for an absurd playoff run. That said, I am here to give you three reasons as to why the New York Jets will fall flat and ultimately lose their season on Monday Night Football.  Bold Prediction No. 1: The Tennessee Titans Will Look Like a Real NFL TeamWith just four wins...

New York Jets at Tennessee Titans: Week 15 NFL Pick

New York Jets (6-7) at Tennessee Titans (4-9) The Titans are 4-9, which isn’t very good at all, but if you can believe it, they’re even worse than their record. Of their 9 losses, 5 have come by 21 or more and only one of their 4 wins have come by more than a field goal. As a result, they rank 29th in net points per drive, DVOA, and weighted DVOA. The Jets aren’t as good as...
