The New York Jets have signed veteran guard Stephen Peterman and agreed to terms with 15 undrafted free agents.
The moves Monday came after the Jets also announced they had waived quarterback Tim Tebow.
Peterman, who adds depth to the Jets' revamped offensive line, was a third-round draft pick by Dallas in 2004 and played the last seven seasons with Detroit. He has appeared in 90 career games with 86 starts.
The Jets also agreed to terms with wide receivers Zach Rogers, Ryan Spadola, K.J. Stroud and Antavious Wilson; tight ends Chris Pantale and Mike Shanahan; offensive linemen Dalton Freeman, Trey Gilleo and Mark Popek; defensive linemen Roosevelt Holliday, Jake McDonough and Spencer Nealy; linebacker Troy Davis; and defensive backs Mike Edwards and Rontez Miles.

NEW YORK'S NOT MY HOME
After one tumultuous season, the Tim Tebow Experiment by the New York Jets has come to an end, with the team releasing the quarterback early on Monday morning.
Since the Jets released Tim Tebow yesterday, there's been some talk around the NFL community that another team may be willing to pick up Tebow if he's willing to play a different position such as fullback or tight end. Now, it seems, the Jets never considered changing his position, viewing him as a quarterback to till the end. On "Mike and Mike in the Morning,"...
According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, a source told him that Jets quarterback Tim Tebow is “probably gone” soon. I know the Jets just might be naive enough to think they can still trade Tebow, but they need to face reality that they won’t be able to and stop wasting his time as well as their own and just get rid of him. While Dee Milliner is the new prize catch, Miles may surprise and stick with the final cuts.

The New York Jets don't know what they're going to do with their quarterback situation, as now it's being reported that the Jets could keep Mark Sanchez and just simply DUMP Tim Tebow. The rumor started making the rounds after the Jets drafted West Virginia QB Geno Smith in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft on Saturday. With the added addition of Smith, the Jets...
In a move that surprised no one, the Jets released Tim Tebow. So ends one of the most bizarre moments in Jets history. As many of you know I haven’t been shy about saying that getting Tebow was a mistake and while so many thought the Jets were getting a winner, it was clear that it rattled Mark Sanchez and that Tebow turned out to be anything but what his press clippings said he...

Former Jets quarterback Tim Tebow through waivers unclaimed today and is now officially a free agent. He can sign with any team at any time.
Just because no teams put in a claim for Tebow doesn’t mean no one is interested. Now that he’s a free agent, we’ll find out if anyone really wants to really sign him.

Thanks to the media, Tim Tebow is crammed down the publics throats every single chance they can get. The New York Jets releasing Tim Tebow was given more publicity on ESPN than Jason Collins coming out as the first active gay athlete in a major sport, which is pathetic given Tebow’s NFL career. Mandatory.com feels similarly about the Tim Tebow circus and made a hilarious LinkedIn...
