Tim Tebow to take his show elsewhere next season? Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News joined the NFL Network's 'Around the League' today and was asked about the possibility that Jets quarterback Tim Tebow will be wearing something other than green next season.
Tebow is under contract for next year, and Mehta thinks a trade in the offseason is definitely a possibility.
"I find it very difficult to believe that Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow can grow as quarterbacks, and develop as quarterbacks, being on the same team. I think ultimately their paths will go separate ways, and I think that could be after the season.
I would not be surprised at all if the Jets decide to part ways with Tebow after the year."
Question is, where would he go? He wants to be a starter, but where could he go, where he'd not be placed in the same situation he's in right now?
Trading Tebow would be the wise move. After all, the team's just not big enough for the two most overrated players in the NFL. Sports Illustrated polled 180 NFL players and Tebow was named in a landslide victory, the league's most overrated player, collecting a staggering 34% of the vote.
Mark Sanchez came in a distant second with 8%.
