The Jets will waive running back Chauncey Washington, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. Washington is apparently pretty angry about the decision, and he has good reason to be. He's outplayed drafted rookie Joe McKnight by a wide margin, and McKnight probably won't see the field all season. In the end, New York decided to stick with McKnight and Danny Woodhead, who can also play receiver.
