Jim Harbaugh is still complaining about pass interference, he badly wants that to be why the San Francisco 49ers lost the Super Bowl. However, Harbaugh is the microcosm of why the 49ers lost; he still thinks they were the better team. Instead of blaming his staff and team for failing to score within 5 yards of a touchdown, he’s blaming the referees. “A penalty is a penalty no matter when it occurs in a game,” Harbaugh said, via The Rise Guys on 95.7 The Game. “It could occur in the first play of the game. It could occur on the last play of the game, or any play in between. That’s the rules of football. You let ‘em play or let ‘em get away with something. Which would you rather have? Let’s play the rules of the game. . . . If there’s a penalty then it’s a penalty — doesn’t matter what kind of game. . . . It’s the rules of football. If it’s a penalty, you call it. If you see it, you call it. That’s how I feel about it.” He won’t acknowledge the fact that if they didn’t have a 30 minute delay due to malfunctioning lights, the out on their feet 49ers would have been KO’d by the Ravens. His team has the same attitude; Frank Gore said they were still the better team. What? While the Ravens were busy going over every detail during Super Bowl week, the 49ers were at strip clubs partying. As far as on the field, the 49ers were woefully unprepared with no hurry up offense, and brain cramped on not getting Colin Kaepernick out of the pocket, and running more. Can you blame the officials for burning precious timeouts in the 2nd half? It’s clear now why the Ravens won, John was prepared while Jim was not. Jim bragged about how great the 49ers practices were all week, John never uttered a word. At their joint press conference, Jim came as the ball coach dressed in 49ers gear; John came in a suit and tie. Jim bragged about his team, John answered questions like a professional. John had trick plays; Jim had his mind playing tricks on him. Deal with it Jim, your brother beat you, and if the lights didn’t go out, you wouldn’t have a last minute, so called pass interference excuse for losing.
