Former Buffalo Bills quarterback Jim Kelly was happy to see Tim Tebow sign with the New York Jets. But, it wasn’t because Kelly was excited to watch him play. Instead, it was for the turmoil the move may cause a division rival. “As a Buffalo Bills fan, I hope there’s so much turmoil during training camp, I hope Tebow plays great, he pushes (Mark) Sanchez, and all of a sudden the locker room is coming apart,” Kelly told Andrew Siciliano on NFL Network’s “Total Access.”

TOJ’s Top 50 New York Jets Countdown: 10-20

Frustrated and confused after seeing the NFL’s Top 100 player list? TOJ was as well. Due to that, we have decided to rank the current New York Jets on the roster from 50 all the way down to 1. Along the way, we will be classifying the players into the following five categories: Bottom of the Roster (strictly a depth and developmental player) Middle Class (Situational player...

Buffalo Bills: 5 Who Need To Put Up or Shut Up In 2012

As we move into the slowest month of the NFL offseason, we often take this time to truly reflect on a team, season, or player; both what has come before, and what may soon lie ahead. In the case of the Buffalo Bills, last season saw the re-emergence of hope in the Queen City, as several relatively new names (Fitzpatrick, Dareus, Barnett, Jackson) tried, unsuccessfully, to cast off...

CJ Spiller Says Bills Are Close to Being a Super Bowl Team

Before you laugh just remember almost every year a team comes from nowhere to become Super Bowl contenders (for instance the 49ers last year). Could it be the Bills? “We split with New England [last year],” Spiller said. “We had the Giants on the ropes. We are close to being a Super Bowl team.” The lack of recent success hasn’t dampened the enthusiasm in...

Bills C Eric Wood Says It's Time To Start Testing For HGH

As the NFL and NFLPA are still at odds over testing for HGH because the two sides can't agree on testing. Buffalo Bills center Eric Wood says it's time they started testing. Wood tweeted the following today, "Just took my at home drug test for the league and they could have easily blood tested. If you're going to test cover everything." When asked by a fan if...

Jets CB Darrelle Revis To Use 'Win Now' Mentality As Leverage For New Deal?

When Jets players report to training camp at the end of the month, all eyes will be on their famous backup quarterback, but a potential second holdout in three seasons could distract the media from Tim Tebow since Darrelle Revis has yet to confirm that he will be at camp. His holdout in 2010 led to a new deal, which paid him $32.5 million in ’10 and ’11, but he will be making ...

Buffalo Bills WR Stevie Johnson and Game Make a Rap Video

Stevie, Stevie, Stevie… Don’t quit your day job my friend. This annoys me because I like Game. He should have kept doing his thing, no need to go mainstream. Johnson should rap about dropping huge passes in clutch moments of a game, that would be a top seller.

Bills’ Stevie Johnson making horrible music with The Game

I'm all for people chasing their dreams, but I am 100% against this abortion of a song that The Game helped Buffalo Bills' receiver Stevie Johnson record in a studio that obviously is not on a tight budget for time slots that may produce music worth listening to.

LaDainian selfish?

As we all know, LT retired early this week as a Charger. He found his way back into the news, with a controversial Q&A. In an interview Wednesday, LaDainian Tomlinson was asked if he would rather win a Superbowl or be a Hall of Fame player without a ring. Tomlinson took the road less traveled on this one and stated “Hall of Fame player without a ring, because you have to sacrifice...

Sunday Morning NFL Quick-Hits: Ryan, Tebow, Jackson, Vick and more

Every Sunday morning our NFL columnist Anthony Stalter will provide his “quick-hits” from around the league. You can follow him on Twitter @AnthonyStalter. + Mike Smith and Thomas Dimitroff had it right in 2008 when they built the Falcons’ offense around Michael Turner. The “Ground and Pound” approach took pressure off rookie Matt Ryan and the Falcons surprised by winning...

Quaterback hot seat – assessing the heat through early season schedules

Each of the quarterbacks we’ll look at in this piece are on the metaphorical hot seat. Some, by situation alone are hotter than others, but all likely need a hot start to the season (if they survive training camp). While other factors are at play, how these QBs and their teams fare through the first few games of the season could have a big impact. [...]
