The Indianapolis Colts, who claimed Ndamukong Suh and his teammates stood over right tackle Winston Justice after Suh gave Justice a concussion in the fourth quarter while blocking on Don Careys interception return.
Lions coach Jim Schwartz defended his star defensive player after viewing a coaches film replay of the game, Carlos Monarrez of the Detroit Free Press reports.
What shows on the coaches film is we make an interception with 6 minutes to go, were up two scores and it looks like its a really great chance to be able to win that game and guys were looking to be able to make blocks, and (the film goes) off after that."
There were no penalties on that play. Our guys were rightfully excited. We had a very good pass rush on that. The quarterback, like we had talked all week, had to elevate his throw, made the interception, got the ball around midfield and, unlike our other interception, didnt have any penalties. Were excited about it. Source: The Redzone Attached Thumbnails
