Houston Texans defensive end JJ Watt really made a name for himself this season with his strength and tenacity on defense. But off the field, Watt is proving to have a bit of a soft spot in his heart, and it’s made for a really nice story. Earlier this month, this 6-year-old Texans superfan wanted to connect in a special way with the 23-year-old Watt as shown in this video posted to YouTube on January 12th. It took a while for the video to circle the web and find its way to Watt, but he took notice on January 28th and decided to seek out the heartbroken little fan. Does anyone happen to know this cute little girl? We have to find her and turn those tears into a smile.m.youtube.com/watch?v=938Scd… — JJ Watt (@JJWatt) January 28, 2013 Watt eventually got a hold of the young girl’s family and was able to set up a time to meet with them. Yesterday the young girl got to meet the man of her dreams, and Watt gave this special fan the honor of being “married” to the Texans superstar for a day. Thanks to your help, we found 6-year-old Breanna and she said yes to being my pretend wife for the day… twitter.com/JJWatt/status/… — JJ Watt (@JJWatt) January 30, 2013   Memories like this truly last a lifetime, and it’s fantastic that so many NFL players, with the help of social media, can reach out to their fans and grant wishes such as this one. Even if Watt is truly taken at the moment, this Texans fan will always remember her day of stardom.
