JJ Watt sounds ready for the Houston Texans’ rematch with the New England Patriots.
According to a few reporters and some others in attendance at Gillette Stadium, the Texans All-Pro defensive end spit on the Patriots’ logo at midfield during warmups before the Divisional Round playoff game between the teams.
WEEI’s Mike Petraglia reported that Watt came out to stretch around midfield just before 3:00 pm ET. A few minutes later, Petraglia tweeted that Watt spit on the logo. WHDH’s Darren M. Haynes also reported the same news.
Pats fans are probably hoping this report gets back to the team to give them a little extra motivation for the game. Both teams are 12-4, but the Patriots rocked the Texans 42-14 in Week 14.
We certainly know from past behavior that Watt isn’t afraid to disrespect another team or player.
