Joe Andruzzi, long time offensive lineman for the New England Patriots, made a huge difference a woman’s life today,  Andruzzi is usually protecting the likes of Tom Brady, but today during one of the most horrific days in U.S History he was protecting innocent bystanders.  At the iconic Boston Marathon where 27,000 Runners run to be apart of an historic day were all rocked by a heinous crime. Two explosions went off at 2:50 EST at the “Finish” line. Two have been reported dead and over 100 have been reported injured, many of them losing limbs. Joe Andruzzi was one of the first volunteer responders. In the picture above he is seen carrying a woman to safety. The area had not been cleared safe but Joe Andruzzi put his life on the line to help those truly in need. Andruzzi showed the true spirit of a hero by putting everyone else before himself and he should be seen as an example for all people.
