Im just tired of this BS they pull of gambling on the future, mcnabb and westbrook deserve a ring and most of all this fanbase derserves it, ive never been around more passionate fans and it just seems we get bamboozled, we buy their merchandise we buy their game tickets and in my case we buy sunday ticket to get their games, i think its about time they give the fans what they want and deserve, now is not the time to roll the dice on a rookie WR, boldin, gonzalez, edwards etc...,would have cured a big part of our redzone inefficiency, D-Mac is 33 Westy is 29 and neither have much time left, i just feel if it wasnt about the money banner and reid would have paid for a vetreran that they know would come in and immeaditly produce that physical reciever we have lacked, Im not putting maclin down one bit he is an impressive reciever unfortinatly he wont command as much double coverage as the players i mentioned, opening up a lot more for D-jax upfield, but if your going to take the cheap way out at least draft a guy for a position we lack depth at, perfect example: brandon pettigrew, not maclin value, but by far the best tight end in this years draft, and a physical reciever we lack, at least if a reciever gets hurt we have depth at that position we have no depth at TE, its just to much future talk for me anymore, 1 TD away from a SB and another rookie will help us get there? I give them credit for every other move but this one
