The Baltimore Ravens will find themselves in a dilemma at the end of the season; what to do with quarterback Joe Flacco? Flacco is in a contract year and will surely command big money if the Ravens decide the re-sign him. The problem is that whether or not Flacco is the future of the Ravens and deserves a big contract is easily debatable. At 6-6, 245 lbs, Joe Flacco has ideal stature for an NFL QB.  Through four plus years, he hasn’t missed a start and has completed over 60 percent of his passes.  Flacco has also tossed 100 touchdowns and has a career passer rating of around 86. Statistically Joe Flacco is solid but what makes his future in Baltimore unknown are the questions surrounding his leadership.  Despite his stats, no one knows if Joe Flacco is capable of leading the Ravens to the Super Bowl and after almost five seasons it at least appears that the answer is no.… Read more

  • ENOUGH ABOUT THE RAVENS. THEY ARE DONE. GO SKINS!
  • Well hello Charm City, Hows it hanging with this years crop of problems? since i last posted a lot seems to be going on, first the sideline news was the removal of Cam the confused and replaced him with Big Jim this in it's self will make a big impact on the Qb's ability to maintain the game control needed when you are having to cover the weakness exsposed by injuries and age, all this would not be possiable if you don't have a compentent sideline staff with the right grasp of a player ability and the right gametime play calling is what will be the deciding factor in how well this Qb's future in Charm City is measured, now how Big Jim Makes it thru this head coach's limited ability is anyone guess? and it's no mistake when i say that this is a need that should have been done along with Cam the confused, but this is something that i spoke about for the last three seasons, So even with all the other issues with the new Oc this team will and should go deep into the playoffs, and hope that Steve and Ozzie would at least think about what Big Jim has done for you and act accordinly.
  • lcmravens says: Since day one when Joe started his first game the field got shorter. For years we watched every game waiting for the defense to save us. From his first game everything changed. Flacco is sturdy and strong. I can name four occasions when we lost the 'big one' because of a dropped pass. He didn't drop them. I'll go with Joe. Next year, if necessary, he'll be franchised till something is worked out. We can't go back. This is our fifth year running we've been in the hunt to the very end of the playoffs. How many other teams can say that? The ball's not round, and it takes a team to win. We didn't win every game with 19. Heck his first NFL pass was an interception, and he was the best that ever was or is. My money's with Joe. In baseball our sports commentators got us to get down on Eddie Murray. Get real. Joe's our guy.
