CJ Sports NFL Talk:
So here we are, a couple of weeks removed from the signing of the most ridiculous contract in NFL history. The same contract that will ultimately tear the Baltimore Ravens apart.
In hopes to move pieces around so they can afford to keep as many players as possible, the Baltimore Ravens traded Anquan Boldin to the San Francisco 49ers on Monday.
The 49ers acquired wide receiver Anquan Boldin from the Ravens for a sixth round draft pick.
Now Boldin is not a top 10 receiver, as a matter of fact he is a poor mans T.O., but is worthy of more than just a sixth round draft pick. Unfortately for the Ravens, Flacco put them in a position that they have to ake what they can get.
The Ravens announced the trade, prompting what was supposed to be a disappointed response from Joe Flacco. Honestly, am I really supposed to believe that he was disappointed when he was the cause for the half-price Baltimore Clean Out Sale? I know Flacco can’t be that slow. I realize he has taken a few too many hits and I know he looks like it as well, especially with that ridiculous mustache. That is the price of not only getting a bigger contract, but even more the price when you are getting paid about double your actual value or worth.
“Anquan was a great receiver for myself and for our football team ,” Flacco said. It’s sad to see a guy like that go, but at the same time you want what’s best for him and you just wish him the best of luck.”
As the rest of the Free Agency frenzy continues, we will keep an eye on how many players Flacco causes to be traded or cut. Until then, let’s see who and if, gets the axe and who gets to stay. Repeat as Super Bowl Champs, because of Flacco, NO!!!! A team to watch in the off-season and NFL draft, most definitely.
BEST OF MAXIM

That didn't take long--- The Ravens asked Anquan Boldin to take a $2 million pay cut to remain a Raven. 'Quan said no way. Okay, said Ozzie, we're trading you to the 49ers for a 6th round pick. Boom. Done.
And now 'Quan is done as a Raven. Coming up on 33 he still has one more good year left in him. The Ravens are going to miss his big plays.

Free agency has yet to get underway, but the frenzy started on Monday with two of the league's top receivers being traded. Contracts were of course factors in both cases, but let's break down what Percy Harvin going from the Minnesota Vikings to the Seattle Seahawks and Anquan Boldin going from the Baltimore Ravens to the San Francisco 49ers means for all four teams involved...
For over a decade, Ray Lewis was the unquestioned leader of the Baltimore Ravens' defense, giving countless speeches that rallied his troops around him. They were fiery, and they came from the heart, but they were also ridiculous, even for his teammates.
"Oh, it's funny," Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco told USA Today Sports while talking about Lewis' passionate...
