PLAYERS: Joe Haden
TEAMS: Cleveland Browns
Suspended Browns cornerback Joe Haden acknowledged the Cleveland fans and apologized for his actions that led to a four game suspension for a performance enhancing substance- Haden has been relatively quiet on the social media platform, the apology was just his second tweet during the month of September. Before the rumors began circulating about an impending suspension for recreational adderall use, Haden was one of the most active Browns players on the social network. Haden reportedly went locker to locker following Sunday’s game against the Eagles and apologized to teammates for his impending suspension. Browns vs. Bengals – Reader Survey

Last week Browns fans predicted a 27-16 loss to the Eagles and got a lot of things wrong. Now that you’ve seen the team and you’ve also (likely) seen the Bengals get pounded by the Ravens, we’ll see how you do. Results will be posted before game time.

How were your predictions? – Eagles vs. Browns

I apologize for not getting this done earlier in the week. Remember this year, instead of doing “The Browns Will Win If…” we are boiling it down to a reader’s survey. 200-ish of you filled it out last week prior to the Bengals game with your expectations. Here’s how you/we did. The final score for the game was Eagles 17 – Browns 16. Browns fans predicted the Browns would...

Bengals Say Richardson Nothing Spectacular

BEREABengals linebacker Rey Maualuga said he didnt see anything spectacular from running back Trent Richardson last Sunday. He can run you over and you can miss a tackle, at the same time, from what weve seen he didnt do nothing spectacular, Maualuga told CBSSports.com earlier this week. From running screens, missing passes, trying to find a hole when hes running the ball. He just...

Shurmurball Week 2: It gets better?

It can’t get any worse for Brandon Weeden and the Browns offense today in Cincinnati against the Queen City Kitties. But can it be just as bad? And the defense? Did it contain the Eagles last week or did the Eagles contain themselves? The Week 2 NFL picks are here and the rest is your Shurmurball Week 2 support group open thread. Tweet

Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals NFL Week 2 Preview

http://www.clevelandbrowns.com/ Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals NFL Week 2 Preview A.J. Green was considered by John Harbaugh as arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL, but Andy Dalton proved that he still has some growing pains to go through. Andrew Hawkins and Armon Binns are the next targets alongside tight end Jermaine Gresham, which is certainly a concern. The Brown...

Idle chatter: A pair of long seasons ahead?

1. That we keep using the word "historical" with the, um, achievements of the Browns offense can not be a good thing. How do the Browns go about getting it fixed? McManamon: Hope. Thats basically what the Browns are relying on at this point. Hope that Trent Richardson gets better quickly and revives the moribund running game. Hope that Brandon Weedens opener was just an...

Browns-Bengals Preview

Browns rookie running back, Trent Richardson, averaged 2.1 yards per carry in his NFL debut. If the Browns offense is going to at least be serviceable this season and Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals, Richardson needs to improve quickly.

What we think will happen against the Bengals (Week 2)

Cleveland Browns vs Cincinnati Bengals September 16, 2012 Brian   Browns 28 Bengals 10 Last week I said it would be a few weeks until our rookie-led offense started clicking. After the 5.1 rating disaster last week, Weeden needs to pick it up quicker than that. A few more performances like that and there will be...
