Cleveland Browns All-Pro cornerback Joe Haden is known for shutting down the best wide receivers in the NFL. Undoubtedly one of the best corners in the game. He was rewarded as such in his recent extension with the Browns. While Haden is one of the best players in the NFL (ranked No.39 in NFL Network’s Top 100 Players), Haden can’t do what he does if he isn’t healthy and on the field. The 25-year-old corner has been a fixture on the field every Sunday for Cleveland. Haden took another step toward keeping his exciting career rolling along this week by signing on with Unequal Technologies, the leading provider of customized, concealed sports protection. This is a partnership that you’ll want to listen to, especially if you’re an athlete of any type or a parent of a young football player. Concussions and injuries have been at the top of the headlines in recent years. The NFL has been hot on the trail of eliminating concussions and lasting effects of head injuries. This is an important subject for anyone who enjoys the sport of football. Haden has become one of the proactive players in the NFL by taking this step in partnering with Unequal Technologies. He just signed a multi-year endorsement deal with Unequal, and he’ll be wearing their gear under his helmet and uniform this 2014 season. Haden will be gearing up in the Viper Girdle, which protects the hip, tailbone and thigh. He will also be wearing the Unequal Gyro, which provides all important head protection in Haden’s helmet. As the Browns suit up for an exciting 2014 season, Haden will be protected by Unequal. Joe Haden is setting the example for protection and safety in the game of football by wearing these products at the highest level. It just goes to show that safety is of utmost importance for players at all levels. The Browns are counting on Haden to come through on the contract extension that made him the NFL’s highest paid corner. Unequal comes in to make sure that Haden is protected and healthy. The All-Pro cornerback is vocal about the importance of head injury prevention. He’s setting a good example for players at any level. “I’m very selective in the products I associate with and am always looking out for the latest innovations in technology,” said Haden. “Concussions are a serious issue in football today. With Unequal in my helmet and on my body, I’m wearing the best protective gear available and have the confidence to go out and compete at the highest level with less fear of injury. I want to do everything I can to be healthy when I leave the game, so I put Unequal in my helmet. No question.” As you can clearly see, Haden is serious about keeping himself on the field. You will also clearly recognize Unequal products and all of the things they are going to do for Haden. Unequal features a distinctive green design in their products that makes them fashionable as well as protective. Unequal is changing the protection and performance scene across the board. They offer products for just about any sport that you can imagine. They also offer protection for the military and working ventures. Truly an all-in-one company offering everything you need. All Unequal products come fortified with a patented, military-grade composite fortified with Kevlar and Accelleron offering untouched ability to absorb and dispense impact forces. The Unequal Gyro is the product that could truly change the foundation of football and helmet protection. The Gyro will provide padding and protection as it fits right into Haden’s helmet. The lightweight and customizable Gyro will greatly reduce the risk of concussions as Haden breaks up passes and makes tackles. While concussions may never be fully removed from the game of football, the Unequal Gyro is making strides. This is a product that any player should be getting ahold of. The importance of head safety and mental health cannot be underestimated. The Gyro is going to be beyond valuable under Haden’s helmet, but the Viper Girdle is nothing to forget about. Unequal’s Viper Girdle appears to be nothing more than a pair of compression shorts at first glance. This has to be one of the most innovative girdles to ever hit the football field. The modern NFL style is all about keeping the bulky leg pads out of the way. Some players have gone as far as simply ditching protection and risking injury to avoid the bulky look. Now they can have the best of both worlds. Haden’s Viper Girdle will provide all of the hip, tailbone and thigh protection for his lower half while remaining low profile and lightweight. It comes loaded with the same military-grade protection as the Gyro and all other Unequal products. Unequal also offers a cutting-edge protective shirt and insoles on their football line of products. Joe Haden will be protected and performing this season with Unequal. They offer the ultimate trade-off of protection while still remaining lightweight, flexible and fashionable. Haden needs all of that to remain one of the best corners in the game. “I believe in Unequal’s technology. It’s so thin and lightweight I can move how I want on the field. I want to get more people involved with this technology and safety,” said Haden. The word of this All-Pro is worth taking. Haden is putting the trust of his top-class body in the hands of Unequal. He’s making a move to keep his career in Cleveland at a top-notch level for many years to come. Unequal is doing some very creative things. They truly mesh performance and protection for one of the best players in the NFL. It’s not hard to see why Haden signed on with Unequal. “We’re excited to have Joe Haden – a dynamic playmaker and one of the top defensive backs in football – join the Unequal ranks heading into 2014,” said Unequal CEO Rob Vito. “Joe has extraordinary talent and a great mind for the game and his future. He recognizes the need for the best technology to keep him playing at the top level and is a perfect embodiment of the Unequal brand: resilient, confident and an all-out competitor. We look forward to working with Joe as he becomes a role model for other athletes looking to take protection into their own hands.” Haden is looking to set the Unequal trend for players at all levels. This product is one that can be utilized from the lowest levels of Pop Warner to the highest levels at the NFL. There is no better time to take player safety into account. The future of football relies on it. Joe Haden, who is a large part of the future of the Cleveland Browns, also relies on it.
