Heading into tonight's preseason game at the Jets -- the usually-crucial "dress rehearsal" of a third game -- wide receiver Joey Galloway is in two very different places on two lists that you would think would be interrelated. On the depth chart he's listed as a starting wide receiver -- literally the first guy on the list if you look at the version on Redskins.com. But in the Redskins preseason receiving stats, a list that's fifteen guys long spanning 43 receptions, he's literally nowhere to be found.
That might seem like cause for some alarm, but Galloway sounds pretty much unconcerned."Goin' into the game we have a plan of how long I'm gonna go," Galloway says, "and that's what we've stuck to. It just so happens that no ball has happened within that timeframe. So, no, I'm not necessarily worried about it."
But ... doesn't it make some kind of sense that on-field performance in the preseason games would dire...
