After John Abraham was released by the Atlanta Falcons this March, he said that he was not considering retirement. After visiting several teams but not striking a deal with any, it looks like he may have changed his mind. Things can often be mis-read on Twitter but John Abraham's last two tweets make it seem like it could be the end of the road for a great NFL player. Retiring 13 — John Abraham(Mr.100) (@johnabraham55) May 4, 2013 Done — John Abraham(Mr.100) (@johnabraham55) May 4, 2013 If Abraham is in fact retiring, he's had a hell of a 13 year career. He has sacked the QB 122 times (in the regular season), 68.5 times as a Falcon. It's hard to believe nobody could find room for a guy who had 10 sacks last season. As a Falcon, Abraham really became a fan favorite as you can see from the out pooring of support on Twitter for Abe... I'll miss the Predator if it's over. @johnabraham55 — Aaron Freeman (@falcfans) May 4, 2013 "@johnabraham55: Done"Noooo! — Maggie ATLThornton (@MsMaggieGeorgia) May 4, 2013 Why why why!that makes me so sad! We want u back abe! U will b missed RT @johnabraham55: Done — monica Landress (@dyrtbird) May 4, 2013 Co-Sign! —> “@jtfalcon804: @johnabraham55 aw man thank you for giving us 100% hurt or not u will forever be a falcon for life #halloffamer” —DaRreLL(@Poppa_Falcon) May 4, 2013 Say it isn't so John Abraham. Say it isn't so... — Jeremy Horne (@JeremyHorne08) May 4, 2013 If it is the end of the road for John Abraham, he's had a full career and he will be missed.
