He's know for his famous video game, but before being a television analyst, then video game maker, he was a super bowl winning coach. John Madden understands the rigors of a season, and with eight game down, he's not convinced the undefeated Atlanta Falcons are a sure bet to win it all.“I think they have solid players,” Madden said, according to D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal Constitution. “They are solid on offense, solid on defense, special teams, the whole thing. They play very well as a group, as a team."“But at this halfway point, I know they are undefeated. They have the best record. But I’m not really ready to say, ‘OK the Super Bowl is theirs. They are the World Champions.’”Madden isn't feeling the thought the Falcons could go undefeated “But how are they going to do in the playoffs?,” Madden said. “At some point, with the Falcons I think you can be ready to jump into the playoffs and say how are they going to do there and that’s where I would start to have questions.”The Falcons have all the pieces on offense with quarterback Matt Ryan, Michael Turner at running back, Roddy White at the number on receiver position, and graybeard Tony Gonzales at tight end.On defense the Falcons have premier pass rusher John Abraham, up and coming linebacker Sean Weatherspoon, and ballhawk corner Asante Samuel.However, that's not enough to convince Mr. Madden, at least not yet. var switchTo5x=true; stLight.options({publisher:''});
