After winning his second Super Bowl in four years, New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin has been waiting patiently for a brand new contract from owner’s John Mara and Steve Tisch.

“We’re working on it,” Mara said. “It will be done sooner rather than later.”

Coughlin is going into the final year of his current deal and he’s at least bought himself another four years with the Giants.

“I don’t think so,” said Mara when he asked if there will be any possible hang ups.

Both Mara and Tisch were impressed with how Coughlin rallied the 2011 Giants to a Super Bowl title.

“When we were in the middle of the season and things weren’t looking very good, this team really pulled together,” Tisch said. “Coach Coughlin really knew what to say to those guys, when to say it and how to say it and that is why we are here tonight.”
