Photo by @JManziel2 via Twitter It’s been just over six months since Johnny Manziel won the Heisman, and he’s certainly still enjoying his victory tour. He’s been a regular at NBA games (including the Finals), he’s been spotted with numerous celebrities, and now he’s working on throwing passes while blindfolded. Today, he appeared on ESPN’s First Take with Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith. The group covered a number of topics: Manziel was asked for his NBA Finals analysis, talked about Texas A&M and his team’s mentality in the SEC, and Skip even managed to get Johnny to talk about some of his past legal issues. Of course, today’s show also had to involve some discussion about Tim Tebow, now that he has been signed by the New England Patriots. Manziel stated that he’s a fan of Tim Tebow, but agreed with Stephen A. Smith that having a 46% completion rating just simply doesn’t get the job done. But the best moment came right at the end of the show, when Skip asked Manziel flat-out if he was a better passer than Tim Tebow. Manziel responded with a quick “Yeah. I mean, I hope I’m a better passer than Tim Tebow.” Ouch. “I would hope I’m a better passer than Tim Tebow.” – Johnny Manziel, when asked how much better a passer he is than Tebow on @espn_firsttake — SportsCenter (@SportsCenter) June 11, 2013 “I hope I’m a better passer than Tim Tebow.”- Johnny ManzielHahaha — Mike Byrne (@byrnesey44) June 11, 2013 Johnny manziel gotta stop disrespecting the boy tim tebow. — Chris Little (@Draristotle) June 11, 2013
