GREEN BAY, Wis. -- One year after being released from prison, Johnny Jolly is one week away from continuing his NFL career with the Green Bay Packers. As the Packers began their offseason training activities this week, Jolly was absent. But as Green Bay went through Tuesday's practice, Jolly sent a tweet to a Packers fan saying that he would rejoin the team on May 28. Though coach Mike McCarthy did not confirm that date as being Jolly's arrival in Green Bay, the now-30-year-old defensive lineman will soon be competing on the field for the first time since January 2010. "When Johnny's situation, his process is completed, when he gets up here, then I'll have more information for you," McCarthy said. "He is still going through the process." Jolly was indefinitely suspended by the NFL in 2010 after being arrested multiple times. Jolly was first arrested in 2008 for possessing at least 200 grams of codeine.
