The former Ravens offensive tackle is still a popular figure among fans, who sought his autograph after this morning's practice.
He is just as popular with the media, which got a few minutes with him. What follows is a partial transcript of the session.
Ogden on what he has been doing since retirement: "Retirement’s a little different. It’s a little slower than when you’re out here working every day. I’m working on my golf game and preparing to do a little pre-game radio shows this year. Just something to stay busy. But besides that, I’m enjoying my time off. Just playing with my son, who is four, and just playing golf."
On whether he misses the team: "I miss the team atmosphere, but that’s about it. I don’t miss being at practice. I don’t even miss playing in games. I’ve played in 170-some games. I did that, but I do miss being around the guys, just the camaraderie and being part of a group."
On whether his heart bleeds purple on Sundays: "...
