Jason WhitneyJonathan Vilma took at dig at the New York Jets New Orleans Saints linebacker, Jonathan Vilma is not happy and this time it has nothing to do with NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell. After the ol’ “anonymous” source was quoted of saying defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo should be fired, Vilma sounded off. “@larryholder:Saints player: Steve Spagnuolo should be fired | NOLA.com nola.com/saints/index.s…” dont give me “anonymous source” bs — Jonathan Vilma (@JonVilma51) January 2, 2013 Then the fun started. Vilma who was drafted by the New York Jets out of the University of Miami, took a jab at his former team that he played four seasons with prior to joining the New Orleans Saints. “I’m bothered you reported it,” Vilma said. “We’re not the Jets, who run to the media for everything.” After a tumultuous season the Saints just endured, this seems like the last thing Vilma and the Saints should be engaging in. The Saints’ organization should be worried about improving their football team for next September and leave the drama behind. Sports-Kings - The Kings of Sports Lists

Jonathan Vilma rips anonymous Saints player for calling out Steve Spagnuolo: ‘We’re not the Jets’

The New Orleans Saints had one of the worst defenses in the NFL this season, which of course reflects poorly on defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo. It was a hectic year in New Orleans between the bounty scandal and the suspension of head coach Sean Payton, so it’s tough to judge anyone based on the past 10 months. At least one Saints player feels as though Spagnuolo is to blame...

Saints Nation: Saints Headed Toward a Mass Exodus?

Sean Payton's contract extension has been a huge relief and added some future stability to a team that had anything but that during this 7-9 season. But just how stable are the Saints as we enter this offseason? The fact that Payton is coming back is big not only huge because this season proved how desperately the Saints need him but also because the team may be going through...

Jonathan Vilma throws the Jets under the bus: “don’t give me ‘anonymous source’ bs”

We can remember when Rex Ryan called out the entire NFL to beat the New England Patriots. Now, the worst defense in the history of the football, called out the Jets. Jonathan Vilma, a former Jet himself, blasted reporter Larry Holder of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, who quoted an anonymous source that they should fire defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo. Obviously ticked...

NFL Rumors: New Orleans Saints Players Trying To Push Steve Spagnuolo Out?

The 2012 NFL season will not be one in which the New Orleans Saints will wish to remember. Take away the losing record and failure to make the playoffs, coupled with all of the player and coaching and executive suspensions, and this past season is one to forget in The Big Easy. Unfortunately, it appears as if the damage control is nowhere near complete for Sean Payton and the Saints...

Rex Ryan Appears to Have Arm Tattoo of Scantily Clad Wife Wearing Mark Sanchez Jets Jersey (Photos)

After catching a glimpse of Rex Ryan‘s arm tattoo, his bizarre calf ink suddenly looks less insane. All of Ryan’s hard work this season — one that saw the Jets go 6-10 — is paying off, as he was spotted Thursday catching some rays down in the Bahamas. One glimpse of the sunbathing coach, however, revealed that he actually has more body art than originally believed. In addition...

Rex Ryan is taking a week away from the New York media frenzy to chill in the Bahamas. Photo: Rex Ryan has tattoo with likeness of wife, Mark Sanchez, and Tim Tebow

Check out the ink that New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan apparently sports on his right bicep.I'm no expert, but it appears to be a tattoo of his wife wearing nothing but a No. 6 New York Jets jersey -- the same as much-maligned quarterback Mark Sanchez. Oh, and did I mention that the tattoo's likeness also resembles Jets quarterback Tim Tebow's signature "Tebowing...

Rex Ryan's tattoo is amazing

Photographer Andrew Theodorakis snapped the above picture of Ryan, and in it, you can see a tattoo...of Ryan's wife...wearing a Mark Sanchez jersey....while potentially Tebowing. This is more than likely either a Photoshopped effort by someone at the Daily News, or a tremendous troll job by...

Wrecks Ryan & The "Jets Family" Need Therapy Now

Wrecks Ryan?No matter how you spell Rex Ryan, the Jets are still a train wreck.Football fans have long regarded the Cowboys, with its owner Jerry 'Botox Surgeons Gone Wild' Jones, as the league’s ranking dysfunctional circus of a team, but over the last four years, and especially with the addition of Tim Tebow this year, that distinction is now a trademark of the New York...
