Jerry Jones referenced what all Cowboys fans were thinking in the aftermath of Sunday’s loss to the New England Patriots, mentioning that head coach Jason Garrett went really, really--maybe questionably--conservative after the team took a three point lead in Foxboro. As it’s Dallas, and Jerry Jones, this became something of a story. And since it became something of a story, Jones says he now regrets making any remark about the play calling. "I think in this particular case after a ballgame, everybody is mad as hell that we weren't successful after playing a fabulous ballgame against a really fine team and so it kind of let a little bit of the emotion, and I would say I probably, if I had that to do over again, wouldn't comment period," Jones said in his weekly appearance on 105.3 The Fan, via the Dallas Morning News.
