SEATTLE – Adam “Pacman” Jones tweaked his hamstring on a 63-yard punt return during the first quarter and did not return in the Bengals 34-12 win over Seattle.
Jones and head coach Marvin Lewis though think he will be ready for next Sunday’s game at Tennessee.
On the punt return, Jones benefited from a couple blocks when he fielded Jon Ryan’s punt at the Bengals 11 with 5:18 left in the first quarter and went down the left sideline before Ryan forced him out of bounds at the Seahawks 26.
Jones said he felt his hamstring knot up on him after he made his first cut. He was in street clothes during the second half.
“I’m disappointed in myself,” Jones said. “Could I have pushed it on the return? Maybe. Would it have been smart? No. I would have pulled it and been out four-five weeks. I was hoping though that I could have played at least two or three plays before getting hurt.”
If he plays, the return to Tennessee is sure to be big for Jones. He was drafted by the Titans in the first roun...

Even with the loud crowd here, the Bengals had 18 passes to 13 runs as Andy Dalton threw two touchdown passes.

For the San Francisco 49ers, the question isn’t if they’re going to win the NFC West, it’s how early in the season they’re going to clinch the division. At 6-1, the 49ers are already four games ahead of the second-place 2-5 Seattle Seahawks. And it’s completely realistic to think that the 49ers could have the…
