Seattle Times:
Jordan Kent had the catch of the morning, the 6-foot-4 receiver leaping high to grab a pass rocketed from Seneca Wallace, who did not look sharp in the practice. It was a practice without pads so Kent didn't have to worry whether a defensive back was about to snap him in half, but he showed explosiveness to go up and grab the ball after working free of Kelly Jennings.Kent is part of a spirited competition for what will come down to two spots. The Seahawks generall keep six receivers on the 53-man roster. Barring injury, T.J. Houshmandzadeh, Nate Burleson and Deion Branch are locks. So is rookie Deon Butler, a third-round pick. That leaves Kent, Courtney Taylor, Ben Obomanu and Logan Payne fighting for two remaining spots. Mike Hass and Michael Bumpus are also considerations, but Kent, Taylor and Obomanu are the three who have really stood out through the first 10 days of training camp. The roster competition, though, is going to be decided by the results in the exhibition games. ...
