Found January 28, 2013 on NFL Trade Rumors:
Steve Doerschuk of the Canton Repository believes that WR Josh Cribbs played his last game as a member of the Browns during Sunday’s Pro Bowl. Cribbs had very limited production during the 2012 season which was highlighted by the fact that he scored his lone touchdown of the season during the Pro Bowl.  Cribbs was primarily a return man for the Browns and the speculation that the kickoff game could be further impacted the NFL suggests that his overall value to any team will be limited in the coming years. Cribbs has been given a limited number of opportunities on offense throughout his career.  In 2011, Cribbs was given the chance to produce, but underachieved greatly. He figures to be the odd man out in Cleveland now that there’s a new regime calling the shots and due to the emergence of WR Josh Gordon.  The post Josh Cribbs Played His Last Game With The Browns? appeared first on NFL Trade Rumors -.

Josh Cribbs still without word on future with Browns

Joshua Cribbs may have taken his Cleveland Browns helmet off for the final time. In Honolulu for the 2013 NFL Pro Bowl, the 29-year-old receiver and return man hauled in three passes for 56 yards and a touchdown. But with his free agency off-season looming, the long-time member of the Browns, the NFL record holder has yet to here of his future since Jimmy Haslam III and Joe Banner...

Browns kicker Phil Dawson does backwards onside kick at Pro Bowl (Video)

It's been awhile since we've seen a backwards onside kick but Cleveland Browns kicker Phil Dawson pulled one off in Honalulu yesterday. Check out Phil turns around and attempts to give the AFC an advantage with his tricky kick:

Browns introduce new DC Ray Horton, his plan

BEREA, Ohio -- One inarguable point was made during Ray Hortons first news conference as the Browns defensive coordinator: He knows what he wants. Give me big men who can run and little men who can hit, Horton said Tuesday morning. Over and over Horton repeated it. Perhaps a half dozen times. Perhaps more. You give me (those) two things, well be a good defense, Horton said. I use...

Cleveland Browns 1999-2012 Documentary

I first learned about this video while reading Besides the Point this afternoon. I figured the Browns have consumed countless hours of my life, what's another 25 minutes. Brings back a lot of bad good memories. Hopefully Haslam, Banner, Lombardi, Chud and Co. can turn this rough patch in Browns history around.

Fun with Numbers

Everyone likes numbers right? Every once in a while I like to see what story the numbers tell. Some of them may surprise you. Some of them you may already know. Sometimes they explain a lot. Let’s have some fun- 950- Trent Richardson finished the season with 950 yards rushing. He broke Jim Brown’s rookie rushing record, but didn’t get to that infamous 1,000 yard mark. He carried...

Art Modell’s Hall of Fame Bid Shouldn’t Pit Baltimore vs. Cleveland

The Art Modell Hall of Fame story line played out when Modell passed away recently. Now, he’s been made a finalist on the ballot to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. That necessitates that we talk this thing over (at least) one more time, but I figured rather than trying to make an obvious and easy plea to the emotional side of the story, it might be interesting to attack the...
