All else equal, it’s significantly more compelling when a veteran face of the franchise has something to say about folks with whom he still works every day than when a second-year player who’s barely hanging onto a starting job flaps about guys who aren’t around anymore. Per Brian Dulik of the Lorain Chronicle-Telegram:
“What we’re doing obviously ain’t working,” Cribbs said Sunday after the Cincinnati Bengals rallied for a 23-20 victory over the Browns. “Hard work isn’t good enough anymore. We play hard, we never stop playing hard, but we’re not getting it done. . . .
When Cribbs was asked if the Browns’ biggest problem was their inconsistent offense, he shied away from a direct answer. The same applied when he was queried about the players’ preparation for games.

Browns struggles wearing on Cribbs
BEREA -- Only one player has been with the Cleveland Browns longer than Josh Cribbs.

Josh Cribbs Cleveland Browns Says It’s not enough, Was He Talking ABout His Play?
Josh Cribbs from the Cleveland Browns says improvements aren’t enough. The Wide receiver would rather be talking wins. Cribbs didn’t have his best outing yesterday as the Browns fell to the Bengals for the second time this season. Cribbs didn’t even have one of his great returns to get the Browns into good field position which in my book is a bit unusual from Cribbs...

Timing is everything in life, and I nearly spit my drink out my nose when I saw that headline on ProFootballTalk.com this morning. Special teams struggling this season for Browns
BEREA, Ohio -- The recent release of long snapper Ryan Pontbriand is just a byproduct of how the Browns special teams has regressed this season. Coaches have explained in number of plays, special teams are actually one third of the game.
However, this year, the Browns...
Defense Lets Browns Down
The Browns came into the game with the number one ranked defense in the NFL against the pass.
You wouldn't have guessed that as they let rookie quarterback Andy Dalton have his way with them. Twice the Browns had a 10-point lead in the second half. But in the end, the Browns couldn't stop the Bengals when they needed. The Bengals did not lead in the game until Mike Nugent...
