St. Louis Rams Blog:
Friday the St. Louis Rams gave permission to the New England Patriots to interview Josh McDaniels. This is another sign that the St. Louis Rams could be very close to signing Jeff Fisher as their next head coach. Jeff Fisher would not be inclined to keep McDaniels who has one year left on his contract with the Rams.Adam Schefter reports that the New England Patriots are expected to hire McDaniels as an offensive assistant. McDaniels will reportedly assist the team during their playoff run. It does upset me that the Rams are helping out the Patriots but to get the deal done with Fisher this is the price they may have to pay. With Bill O'Brien accepting the head coaching position at Penn State this also opens the door for Josh McDaniels to become the next Offensive Coordinator of the New England Patriots.By Stlvinnie - http://www.stlouisramfan.com/

Bill O'Brien's hiring as Penn State's new head coach Saturday quickly had ramifications in the NFL, where he'd been offensive coordinator for the New England Patriots. A person familiar with the situation tells The Associated Press that the Patriots were going to hire Josh McDaniels as an offensive assistant for the rest of the season.
The Patriots’ decision to bring former Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels back onto their coaching staff immediately — rather than wait until the postseason is over — could pay major dividends this week. As the man who drafted Tim Tebow and coached him during his rookie year, McDaniels knows Tebow well. And it’s an added…
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter via Evan Silva of Rotoworld.com, he gets the feeling that the Miami Dolphins might have a slight lead in the Jeff Fisher sweepstakes at this point.
“The sense I’m getting around the league is that Miami has a slight advantage right now,” said Schefter.
Per Tony Sofli of 101ESPN in St. Louis, Fisher has returned home to make his final...
After interviewing in Miami and St. Louis this week, Jeff Fisher has decided he’s heard enough. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported this afternoon that Fisher has decided to only consider coaching the Dolphins or Rams next year, and that he will make his decision sometime next week. Fisher, who previously coached the Titans’ franchise for 17 [...]
Yes, it's that time again — you Houston Texans fans may have to search your memory banks for the last time your city hosted a playoff game (Hint: it was when the Houston Oilers lost in the wild card round to the Kansas City Chiefs at the old Astrodome on January 16, 1994). Yikes! Even the Detroit Lions have a playoff memory from January, 2000 (or, shortly before owner William...
If Tebow gets benched on Sunday, a lot of people around the country will be surprised. Tebow’s teammates in Denver won’t be among those surprised. Florio and Peter King went over the latest news regarding Tebow and Jeff Fisher on NBC’s pregame below.
Jeff Fisher is interviewing for the St. Louis Rams coaching job after previously meeting with the Dolphins.
Here's 5 things I think I think about today's MMQB column from Peter King.1. I agree 100% that one of the big winners of Denver's win over Pittsburgh was Josh McDaniels. He picked Tim Tebow and Demaryius Thomas just for day's like last night. That one game has maybe done more for McDaniels' reputation than for anyone else's other than Tim Tebow.2. The Rams...
