Found October 20, 2012 on NFL Draft Zone:
PLAYERS: Josh Norman
TEAMS: Carolina Panthers

Carolina Panthers cornerback Josh Norman remembers draft day like it was yesterday.  He sat and waited by the phone for a couple days.  He was told by numerous teams that they were going to take him.  One of those teams in particular were the Dallas Cowboys.  The Dallas Cowboys flew Josh out to Dallas for a work out and expressed tons of interest.  I even believed that Dallas was going to select Josh, but after the first round, both myself and Josh believed it wasn’t going to happen.  The Dallas Cowboys jumped up in the draft to nab Morris Claiborne a stud corner from LSU.  Well while sitting waiting for the phone call the confident corner Norman began to get a little upset. The Coastal Carolina product finally received the call he had been waiting for, but it came in the 5th round.  He was selected by the Panthers in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL Draft, where he was considered one of the best prospect on the clock by numerous people including Mel Kiper Jr.
Norman will have something to prove this week against Dallas to prove that he is better than Morris Claiborne, and that the Boys shouldn’t have passed on him.  Norman has not had an interception this year but expect a big game from the confident cornerback.  Teams have tried to pick on Norman since he is a rookie but he has been doing a great job.  With Chris Gamble out expect the Boys to be going to the air quite a bit today.  Remember Tony Romo has more interceptions that touchdowns, that might not fair well for the Cowboys offense this week.  Norman already had 34 tackles on the season and with two weeks to watch film on the Cowboys receivers, expect a big game from Norman this week, as he plays with a little chip on his shoulder.
