Vikings rookie corner back Josh Robinson helped put away the San Francisco 49ers with his interception of an Alex Smith pass intended for Michael Crabtree with 2:18 left in the game Sunday, Sept. 23. I had the pleasure to talk with Robinson after the game, and this is what he said on the interception.

“He threw it behind the receiver. Our rush had been doing a good job on him, having him under a lot of duress, a lot of pressure. He just threw it behind (Crabtree) and I was able to make the catch.”

We are not the only ones expecting big things from Robinson after his first career interception.  Here is what he had to say on his confidence boosting interception.

“It gives me a lot of confidence. That confidence has been helped by my teammates. They’ve been helping me and keeping me positive, even when I make mistakes.”
