Talk about headlines you never expected to see, former Chargers, Patriots, Dolphins, and Trojans linebacker Junior Seau was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence early Monday morning according to TMZ. Thirty Mile Zone’s radius apparently extended down the coast to Carlsbad where they obtained photos of Seau’s sled going over the cliffs to the shore. 10News KGTV in San Diego says Seau was charged with felony spousal assault with injury. They’re also reporting that Seau drove his Cadillac Escalade off the cliff after he was released from custody. Miraculously, Junior escaped with only cuts and bruises and was taken to the hospital. Let’s just hope everything works out well for Seau and his live-in girlfriend.
