Justice has successful knee surgery

The Eagles announced Tuesday that offensive tackle Winston Justice underwent a successful debridement (cleanout) of his left knee. The cleanout was performed by noted orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Ala.Justice is expected to make a full recovery and be ready for the 2011 season. He injured his knee in the fourth quarter of the Eagles’ 34-24 victory over the Houston Texans on Dec. 2. He missed three of the Eagles’ last four regular-season games and was replaced in favor of King Dunlap in the Birds’ 21-16 wild card playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers.
