Two DUIs before his first reception is probably not exactly how the Jacksonville Jaguars would have preferred their first-round draft pick, Justin Blackmon, to start his professional career.

The 22-year-old, No. 5 overall pick in last April’s Draft, was arrested for aggravated DUI in Stillwater, Oklahoma early Sunday morning.

The Payne County Sheriff, Sgt. Brandon Ingham, told ESPN.com Blackmon was arrested at 3 a.m. for aggravated DUI and was jailed with a bond of $1,000.

According to state law, aggravated DUI occurs when a driver carries a blood alcohol level of more than .15 – the legal limit to define a drunk driver is only .08.

This is Blackmon’s second DUI arrest after a 2010 incident saw him arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated after being pulled over for speeding in Dallas, Texas. He was suspended for one game by Oklahoma State University for that incident and vowed publicly that he looked forward to redeeming himself and wanted to prove that, “…this isn’t who I am. I’m not this guy. I’m humbled by this experience and I will grow from it.”

After another DUI arrest, it is unclear whether the Jacksonville Jaguars, or Commissioner, Roger Goodell, will step in for further disciplinary action.

The Jaguars’ front office had no comment on the situation as they only released a statement through their team spokesman, Dan Edwards, to say, “We are aware of the report and are gathering information.”

The Oklahoma St. standout wide receiver caught 252 passes for 3,564 yards and 40 touchdowns in his three years in college. The Jaguars traded up in the Draft to get him, hoping his addition would shore up a passing offense which only averaged 136 yards per game in 2011.
