Justwannawinna's Eagles-Giants Preview and Pick

I haven't done one of these in a while because of the success of the Phillies but with that said, there's nothing like a good ol NFC east showdown between the Birds and Giants. I'll try to keep this thing nice short and sweet. Lets take a look at the positions and see where the Birds have advantages QB- Yeah Donovan is still a better QB than Eli Advantage: Birds RB- The Giants three headed monster is great and Jacobs is a beast but B-West is <3 Advantage: Birds WR- Kevin Curtis is Back Desean Jackson is playing great but Plaxico is Plaxico and he can and has beat us multiple times even with Asante covering him Advantage: Giants O-Line- The Birds O-linemen are having a great year with Donovan only being sacked 13 times all season but The Giants O-Line have produced the 2nd best run game in the league not mention Eli's been sacked only 10 times all year Advantage: Giants D-Line- Our Birds have had a great year with Bunkley, Parker, Cole and Howard all having almost Pro-Bowl like years. Mathias Kiwanuka and Jason Tuck are a better combo but I still think our D-line is deeper and just as versatile Advantage: Birds Linebackers- Antonio Pierce is a bum and the rest are just whack we bring Stewart Bradley, Omar Gaither and Chris Gocong three young fast LB's that can cover well. Advantage Birds Secondary- I'm not even going to get into this read the names and you'll know why Asante Samuel, Sheldon Brown, Brian Dawkins besides Aaron Ross I'm not too worried Advantage Birds Key Matchups are: Asante vs Plaxico, Eagles LB's vs. Brandon Jacobs, Eagles D-line vs Giants O-line, Eagles O-line vs Giants D-Line My Prediction: WE ARE PUMPED FOR SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL fresh off the WORLD Series WIN The Birds need to keep the ball rollin' and I think they will with our Defense steppin it up and forcing maybe 3 turnovers. Final Score- 27-17 Eagles a more rational score would be 27-21 Eagles but who cares GO BIRDS
