San Francisco 49ers
Green Bay Packers
First off, I would like to thank the Baltimore Ravens for giving the 49ers, Anquan Boldin. For those that didn’t get to watch the game, Boldin didn’t just have a good game. He had a phenomenol game. Boldin finished the game with 13 receptions for 208 yards and one tochdown. It wasn’t just the receiving yards, he came up big time when the team needed a key first down. Just the thought of what the offense can become when Crabtree and Manningham come back. Wow.
Boldin wasn’t the only one who had an amazing game. Quarterback Colin Kaepernick showed everyone that he isn’t just a read option running quarterback. He can always throw the crap out of the ball. It seemed obvious that since the Packers talked up so much about stopping read option that Harbaugh and Roman would abandon it and let Kap throw.
Kap finished the day 27 of 39 for 412 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was the second 49ers QB with 400 Pass yds, 3 TD, 0 interceptions in game since 1960, joining Joe Montana, who did it twice. Al...

The San Francisco 49ers grinded out a phenomenal 34-28 win over the resilient Green Bay Packers. Both teams went back and forth on the scoreboard displaying the same amount of intensity as they did in the playoffs. Some extracurricular activities even took place on the sidelines between left tackle Joe Staley and pass-rusher Clay Matthews for the unnecessary late hit on Colin Kaepernick...
The Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers face off this Sunday at CenturyLink Field. To make the matchup more interesting the starting quarterbacks for both teams have put a little wager on the game. 49ers’
Colin Kaepernick had a 34-28 victory to point to after the San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers finished up on Sunday. But he’s added some words, too. Kaepernick got drilled out of bounds by Clay Matthews on a third-quarter scramble Sunday, drawing a penalty flag. A 49ers player ended up getting penalized in the little fight that broke out afterward, too, though, meaning Green...
And so it begins. The San Francisco 49ers start their season at home against the Green Bay Packers in a rematch of last years divisional playoff game where Colin Kaepernick ran for 181 yards in a 45-31 victory.
With a brand new season and the Superbowl loss still in mind the 49ers will try compete for a championship once more now that Kaepernick is undoubtedly the main man. The...

On February 3, 2013 the Baltimore Ravens became the Super Bowl Champions. On September 5, 2013 the team that took the field for the defending champion Ravens looked nothing like the team that beat San Francisco in the big game. Joe Flacco received a huge contract and many of the teams pending free agents left for bigger deals. One move that the Baltimore...
The San Francisco 49ers are set to unleash Colin Kaepernick today against the Packers after keeping him on a short leash all preseason.
According to Ian Rapoport, Kaepernick was banned from running the ball all preseason by Jim Harbaugh.

Anquan Boldin's sensational San Francisco debut helped keep the 49ers on quite a roll against Green Bay. And Vernon Davis did his part in a prolific passing game led by Colin Kaepernick in a 34-28 victory over the Packers on Sunday.

After Clay Matthews hit Colin Kaepernick late, out of bounds, that led to a mini brawl in which 49ers LT Joe Staley was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct, offsetting with Matthews late hit on Kaepernick. Referee Bill Levy explained after the game how he incorrectly enforced the penalty

The Green Bay Packers found a way to keep Colin Kaepernick in the pocket and stop all those read-options runs that embarrassed them in the playoffs.
They just had no answer for his arm.
Or his newest receiver.
Kaepernick threw for a career-high 412 yards and three touchdowns to outduel Aaron Rodgers, and the San Francisco 49ers held off the Packers 34-28 on Sunday in the season...
To cap off a great sports weekend, we have the San Francisco 49ers vs Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. In a new Madden commercial, Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson gave us yet another reason to get excited about this one by making a bet that whoever loses has to shave an eyebrow.
The way the 49ers looked against the Packers, “all Russell Wilson everything” might want to start lining up barbers.
It’s the first episode of PackerTalk’s Newest weekly podcast, Behind Enemy Lines, where Amanda and Chris go deep into 49ers territory to talk about Sunday’s game with Al Sacco, staff writer for for 49ers Web Zone , 49ers Gab, and Sports Southwest . What do the Packers have in store for them this weekend as they take on Colin Kaepernick and the read option? Go deep inside...
The San Francisco 49ers opened the 2013 NFL season with a very good win over the Green Bay Packers. The game was a high scoring game that featured a clash of two of the better teams in the NFC. The 49ers showed that they are still one of the more physical teams in the NFL but they can win by letting Colin Kaepernick throw the ball.
The Packers were so concerned about not allowing...
There was a lot of noise leading up to the game about Clay Matthews saying the Packers wanted to hit Colin Kaepernick. That produced a controversy that seemed mostly contrived because most teams would prefer to punish the opposition’s quarterback. But now that dumb controversy gets validation because Clay Matthews committed a way late launching hit on Colin Kaepernick out of bounds...
